Familjescouter
Through Family Scouting, children under the age of eight, together with one or more adults, can experience scouting in a fun and playful way.
Children and Adults Together
Family Scouting is for children under the age of eight and an adult they feel safe with. Together, you discover scouting through play, adventure, and fun activities.
Children and adults participate side by side, helping each other with the activities. The adult is responsible for the child, but is also an important part of the community and participates just as much as the children.
The adult can be a parent, grandparent, relative, or another close person. The focus of Family Scouting is for children and adults to experience things together and strengthen their relationship.

Parum & Magna
In Family Scouting, children and adults get to follow the bears Parum and Magna on various adventures. Parum is curious and loves to discover and try new things, while Magna is wise and thinks about how everything connects. Together, they play, meet new friends, and help each other.
Stories and imagination are important parts of Family Scouting. Through the stories, children and adults get something to talk about and reflect on together. The stories also help spark curiosity, excitement, and a cozy atmosphere during the meetings.

Family Scouting Stories
In Family Scouting, we use stories as a tool in our meetings. Through these narratives, children and adults can discover new themes together, spark their imagination, and build curiosity and community.
There are several different Family Scouting stories – both long and short, with and without rhymes. The stories are linked to various themes and activities. They help create a warm and playful feeling where children and adults can listen, reflect, and experience adventures together.
Badges
Family Scouting has its own badges that you can earn through participation. Badges are a fun way to create pride in participating and a wonderful sense of togetherness!
