Upptäckarscouter
At Upptäckarna, the difficulty level of the tasks is stepped up. The scouts learn to sail the Optimist dinghy and also get to try sailing a 2-Krona and a keelboat. A fully trained Explorer Scout is capable of handling a knife, building and extinguishing small fires, sailing an Optimist on their own, and possesses basic skills in first aid and maritime safety.
Upptäckarscouts
Many at this age are curious about the world around them, and at Kaparna we encourage that engagement. We often work practically and concretely - it can range from solving missions together to learning to take responsibility in small and big situations.

The children at Upptäckascouter are between 10 and 11 years old.

Badges
There are plenty of badges that suit Upptäckare. For example, they can show that they can handle a knife and axe. Or one of the many interest badges can serve as a framework for the program. There are badges for everything from first aid, fire-making and cooking to water, darkness and superheroes.
Group Manager
Each group has a group manager. Our managers are trained and have completed the mandatory course Safe Meetings.
